Kriss Vector SDP the Best PCC?
As often happens as a jaded writer, I get set in my ways, roll my eyes, and exclaim I will never ever buy something and in this case that something I would never buy was a Kriss Vector SDP. My belief was Kriss Vector SDP was just yet another solution looking for a non-existent problem. People kept leading by stating the big advantage was the ability to caliber-swap lowers. So naturally my perception was 97.8% incorrect just like their statements.
In reality, “the” correct primary advantage is recoil mitigation. It took me a bit to fully understand when Kriss notes “recoil mitigation” they mean literally - no recoil. Now, it does vibrate a bit when shot, but the recoil and muzzle rise is gone. This is one of those guns that is so weird and different that it appears to be an alien technology design but with controls that all seem like they are somehow in the right place or at least where it makes sense. In reality, the Kriss Vector SDP lineup are probably the best PCCs on the market for most buyers for several reasons. Simplicity, reliability, accuracy, quality, and if you have a compatible Glock, magazine interchangeability.
